Hello Darlings , Since yesterday in England is beautiful winter wonderland , everything is white and it feels like Christmas !

Today i wore a collar/necklace I don't really know what to call it. I had a sudden idea that I could use some ribbon and broach , I quite like it !

Hello my Dear readers , I spent my weekend mostly at home , except Saturday when I went for a coffee with my daughter and to a few shops - Also went to the craft shop for some ribbons. I have some ideas for necklaces , I also popped into Primark , I am not a big fan of this shop but I like to get some cheap Jewellery and making and altering them to make my own bits from them. A little customizing, but as nothing caught my eye there I got 2 belts instead £1 each and they are fab , totally loved them today! My niece was staying at my house yesterday so she and my princess daughter made a right mess , usually they both disappear in my room while I am downstairs cooking or doing some other things. You can imagine what's happening in my room - mostly my shoe storage are destroyed :) everything is out from the boxes etc etc ..But , I can remember myself at that age , me and my cousin did exactly the same thing !

Anyway , we spent some time together , girls was doing a lot of drawing and playing with dollies , my Isabella is very excited as she can read now also I am so proud 0f her spelling tests at school , she is fluent in 2 languages and learning 2 more at the age of almost 5. I also did some hairstyles for the girls . I was very inspired by this website here , if some of my readers have a daughters, sisters or even for yourselves this is great web for a hairstyle ideas !

Outfit - Today I wore denim shirt even though I hated denim jackets all my life , I remember my dad used to wear them in the 90's and somehow I just didn't like the look of them , sorry Dad :)

But I do like denim shirts recently and they're so popular now . Especially because the fabric seems so nice and soft, double denim look -I think is not for me but Mixing denim shirts with skirts seems like a great way to wear it !

..Hello my Darlings , here is a few looks how I wore Lanvin h&m necklace , usually people wear that style necklaces with going out dresses or just for special occasions but I think that statement necklaces can be worn with casual outfits as well , especially with some t - shirts , if you think - oh no , not with t - shirts ! why not ? I love it , it gives you that twist you need !

Talking about my - little white tee - I got it from h&m and I am getting at least 2 more , I love it and I want to keep a few more so I can always have a crisp white tee ! Also those paper bag skirt I got from h&m ( £5 sale ) , they are in such a beautiful brownish gold colour !

I have so many outfit posts to show you just I need time for taking pictures , Eye to Eye mirror shoots are not the best option :)

Here is little idea how to wrap a gift , this is perfume box !

What I used : pink tissue paper , tea coloured paper , beads from a broken necklace , natural raffia and that's all really + hot glue gun for beads !

And here is wrapping for perfume gift set !

I used - simple post paper , raffia and Christmas decorations - berries , chain and hot glue gun !

Hello my dear readers .. this December is crazy because I already have a Christmas tree - this is first year I have it so early , usually I get the tree only few days before Christmas so it's fresh and scented .. I only like natural trees , I couldn't imagine plastic even thought that some of them look nice ! I love the scent from the tree , since my childhood I just love the tradition of decorating the tree ..

Here is my first present wrapped , nothing too special but still something different , I used simple box which I decorated with magazine advert pages and some beautiful ribbon , similar like from my last years post here and here..also today I received my new hot glue gun so I am ready to Create :)

Here is my little new Minka feeling festive as well :) ..our new cat reminding to us so much of our previous cat which disappeared over a year ago ..I love you my baby wherever you are !

I just finished my Christmas door decoration , I was very lucky to buy natural plane decor at my daughters schools Christmas market so I only had to decorate it with cinnamon sticks , dried lemon slices etc , only thing plastic is red berries ..

Do you ever heard about Silkenty tea bags ? my dear granny bought me this tea in summer while I was in Riga and since I tasted it I cant stop loving it , this particular tea is similar to Karkade tea , it's so rich and fruity , also it's not just a tea bag with dust inside ( like black tea ) , there is fruit pieces and tea tastes so good ..only thing is that I don't have a clue where to buy it in the UK , only place I find is on Amazon here and here

Hello my dear readers , first of all so sorry for taking so long for updating my blog , I was really busy lately with 100 of things - house decorating ( oh yes , again ) as most of my walls is white and beige ! loads of activities for my daughters school etc .. but this week - end was extra special for me as my family came to visit me :) we had a lovely week - end and we celebrated last day at the restaurant Cinnamon yesterday and like always it was the best food and best experience ! My family had a very early flight back home so whilst I was waking up they were already in a different country.

Since last post my ups and downs

Downs - h&m Versace being bought from desperate eBay sellers and being on eBay within minutes , I am fed up from dieting , so freezing weather for the jogging in the morning , too crowded town as Christmas shopping has started

Ups - delicious food's , delicious hot drinks , my daughters dancing , Starbucks Christmas presents , old Christmas songs , upcoming parties , Latvian home made black pepper biscuits !

Christmas gift wrapping post coming very soon ! Can't wait to create beautifully wrapped presents and share the ideas with you :)

Hello my dear readers , I thought I will share with you this Pringle of Scotland dress which I love so much - I love that there is two different fabrics - makes this dress interesting while the upper part is made from soft cashmere knit , the skirt is made from polyester which is incredibly cut to make the skirt very shapely ..I already wore this dress on 2 occasions and I think this dress will be one of my favorite items for this fall / winter ..

Forget about Lattes and Cappuccino's - there is milky cardamon tea in the town :) honestly it's my latest obsession , it's easy to make and it's so delicious .. Of course I still enjoying my coffee in town but this drink will make me feel cozy at home , I will show you how to make it in some of my next posts !

Ciao my Darlings , here is little post which I promised a while ago - polo neck top with little extra to make it easy to put on - and that is the zip on the back ! and believe me - that is perfect way to put it on , no messy hair and make up .. making it took me about 10 min - you only need a long zip , cotton and a sewing machine ,I actually like the idea of leaving the bottom open , especially if the polo neck top is really tight , I think it would be a great detail , for example if you wear jeans - it's a great way to keep it unbelievably simple yet so sexy ..

hey Darlings ..polo tops are a huge trend this season , do you like them ? polo tops actually are very versatile piece of clothing because you can wear them with everything - trousers , jeans , skirts and shorts , and oh yes also big 60's trend - shift dresses with a polo top underneath . Do I like polo tops ? I think if you wear them the right way, it can look fabulous and chic. BUT I have never really liked any piece of clothing which is awkward to put on. Well for me I always get dressed after my hair and make up is done , so can you imagine after everything is done you are trying to dress yourself in the tight polo top :) It's very awkward indeed ..so I thought it would be great to put a zip on the back - then it becomes less akward..I will show you the results in the next post ..

..hello Darlings , I am back in England and while I am sorting my house , clothes and my mind with hundred of different thoughts I will share with you some ideas which I used for my grannies Birthday ..I made little name cards in the same style as invitations .I had the idea about cupcakes and I found wonderful craft company on eBay where I bought those little cupcake stands !
Me and my daughter had the same white crochet dresses :)
After the party I realized that there is only few pictures of me :) being photographer at the party - this is what you get :)
Party was amazing , first there was an official part with poems , flowers and well wishes from the families and after that was fun party with live music , dancing and different games .

Hey sweeties, it is my last week in Latvia and I am trying to enjoy myself to the max even though the weather at the moment is very unpredictable, yesterday it was hot and sunny while today it was raining. Almost everything is ready for my grannies Birthday, at the moment I am making name cards for the table and then there's a celebration on the weekend : ) Also on Sunday there is some big celebrations in Riga centre as it is Riga's 810th Birthday !
Here are some pictures from yesterday, where I spent the day in beautiful Riga. Also shopping for some presents to take back to the UK etc and we ended the evening on the roof terrace
, which I must say is one of my favorite places to have a little drink and chat this year.. I love that the place is not too crowded, it's very chic and the best thing it's on the roof with beautiful scenary ..

hello sweeties , I am still enjoying my countries love , weather has been fabulous even though we have had some big storms almost every evening, it is still hot. Humidity don't scare me and today in old town there was a lot of rain - I walked looking to the sky and enjoyed the rain. It feels good , almost too good ..Tonight we are going to a club to have a dance. Also there is a thing if you live between two countries you never can move all your things so I discovered some old dresses in my wardrobe, it feels almost the same like you been shopping for new things :)

helooo sweeties , It's almost been a week since I've being enjoying my time in Latvia. I had a lot of family time , a lot of the beach and sea , a lot of my granny's yummy food ..On Friday we went out for some drinks in one of Riga's bars Just where we enjoyed one of the best pina coladas I ever tasted .Well , let's say 2 cocktails was almost too much for me :) afterwards we went to the amazing roof terrace in the new opened gallery Riga , I promise to you pictures of this place next time , it's open roof terrace where you can see all town from above ..anyway , that is the little intro into my time here . I will post more often now as I just sorted out my wireless connection ..Tomorrow I am heading off to old town for a little chill and also I have some things to sort out ..

hey darlings , I am so sorry for my absence , I hope you are still around , are you ??!!!

..and why not to talk about feather skirts this time , I am actually surprised that I didn't write about them earlier ! the statement piece , you really don't need a lot to wear with them , a simple tee in my opinion are the best choice - is still glamorous but with a careless touch so it's not OTT. you want to notice the skirt - flawless and flowing , also leather looks great , especially leather t-shirts ( so IN at the moment and I cant see better combination then Leather t - shirt + feather skirt )

Also why this topic !? few days ago I went to the dry cleaners to clean my feather skirt but I was sent home as they don't do that !!! even though that on the label it says specialist cleaning ...so I googled , oh yes ..googled specialist cleaning and it comes out as a pest control !! I googled - how to clean / wash feather skirts !? nothing , absolutely nothing ..is it possible , I thought there is an answer for everything ..so what I do - I decide to clean my skirts myself , I risk ..from 100% beautiful from the water they come out 100% horrible , me screaming inside - what have I done ! OMG !! yes so bad they looked ..as it was windy outside I just hanged them on the washing line and waited ...and my prayers helped - they was the same beautiful skirt as before :))) so yes , if somebody wants to know - YOU CAN WASH FEATHER SKIRTS , gently ..

..I love Easter and every year I keep the egg colouring tradition ( only natural way - those eggs in the pictures are coloured / boiled in dry onion skins , the patterns are made with little plants and grass ) .. ..yesterday I received my river island little order BUT the dress I ordered was too small and to be honest didn't look good at all so today I went to the shop to changed it - instead of the dark denim dress I instantly saw this beige / nude / cream dress , I tried it on and Loved it from the first sight .. I tried it again at home and I thought - perfect summer dress !!!..why perfect ..hmm, when I think about this dress I can say - feminine , girly , gypsy , flirty , romantic yet not too much , can wear it for a dinner , can wear it for a shopping spree , can definitely wear it to the beach , linen and lace , nude , good with sandals and fabulous with heels - I think it's everything you can expect from summer dress ..

when I am thinking of net shopping bags it takes me back to my very early childhood when people still used them. Mostly the older ladies , my granny had one but to be honest she didn't really use it much and at the time, I wasn't interested in netted bags. :) But now I think the net bag should be back in. I have never seen one in the shop's , even on the Internet..

I think net bag's is a fashion must have ..now there are a lot of choices of nature friendly shopping bags and I like them quite a lot, but the net bag is something else, so vintage so unique and simple at the same time ..

Can't wait to get a net bag for myself and go shopping for my little groceries : )

I am actually one of these people who doesn't like ordinary plastic supermarket bags (I hate them to be frank ) that's why when i'm out shopping I have my big leather tote bag with me at all times : )

.. For now I am using this material bag which I bought at my daughter's fair at school and I love this cute bag , I am using it for small grocery shopping ..

hey Darlings ..I have some kind of passion for scarves and over the years I have quite a collection. I love that scarves change any outfit , even the most boring of outfits into something interesting in seconds ..Also there are so many beautiful scarves around to choose from these days and believe me there is a scarf for every person :) I like scarves made from cotton, silk and chiffon .. from small sized scarves to huge ones.

In my wardrobe there is 2 must haves all year round - scarves and black blazers ..those 2 combinations also help in everyday and day's when you can't decide what to wear or just in bad mood day's when everything you wear seems to look wrong ! For me black blazer's and beautiful scarfs are the answer :)

hey sweeties ..Today was wonderful, with so much sunlight , such a fresh breeze of air ..I went for a walk to enjoy the little piece of nature ..I don't know , sunday's aren't my day's but somehow I started to like them now..I had a thought to sleep a bit longer than usual but of course one little madam woke me up :) no rest for the wicked.. hehe
Finally I managed to take a few shots ..I hope you like them , well this is how I wear a fur hat.. The weather seamed to improve today so hope it will warm up a little, soon.....

Hey my sweet chicks, talking about fur hats from my previous post , here is my favorite fur hat at the moment which is actually a trapper hat / ushanka or how I would call it a pizhik! But I like it better when the ear cover's of the hat are tied up,this hat is perfect for it..

ooh yes , Im waiting for the spring with that amazing feeling when nature comes alive again... when the first thought in the morning is to feel the fresh breeze of spring brush accross your face and the welcoming sun greet's you. I find it very frustrating mid season when people wear too much or too little ..so for now while it's still freezing and windy and so unpleasant I am enjoying my hat :) and my ears are enjoying it too :)

hey girls ..while is still cold and unpleasant outside I thought I will make a post about one of my favorite winter accessories - fur hats ,I will give you some advice from my point of view ..to be honest it's very rare when I see that fur hats are worn beautifully with grace , most of the times it just seems to be a hat for a bad hair day ..for me fur hats mean - chic and stylish and nothing less than that .
so here it is , few tips :
wear simple beige coats with black fur hats ( or other colour ) ..that is definitely a head stopper ..beige in my opinion is very sophisticated colour anyway ( sorry those who think it's plain and boring )

my favorite combination with fur hats are black classic coats / jackets / chunky knits , black will always give you a beautiful silhouette and a hat will be a great statement piece , not necessarily black , if not another neutral colour ..also it's great that from a casual flat boot you can totally change your look to the ultra sophisticated look with a pair of killer heels .

wear fur hats with big wool scarves wrapped around , boleros or capes ..I love when ladies wear the style below, it always make me look at them twice :)

You will never go wrong with one fur accessorize in your outfit , just a furry gloves will make simple outfit a little bit quirky

hey my darlings..already a while ago I saw these gorgeous red shoes in Zara online shop , then I bought them on sale for £29.99 aren't they cheap? the original price was £69.99 :) One thing I love about Zara shoes is quality -they never let me down ..you must wonder why so many !!OMG :) the day I ordered those red heels I was so excited because i already wanted them for a while!! I like peep toes a lot but there is one thing, I like when peep toe is small and this design is beautiful , the colour is hot and the shoes are comfortable as well ..so the day I opened my parcel - i was very happy until the moment I tried them! they were size 5 , Euro 38. They are way too small , I would say a very small size 37 ..That is the One of the things I don't like about online shopping or shops when the sizes can be so different ( if you remember my black Zara slingbacks , size 5 was perfect for me like they should be )..OK , it's not really a big issue you would think because online shopping change sizes if something is wrong etc but the day I received my red heels online shop had sold out and the shops too. So there is no chance for me really ..but I was so obsessed and angry ( just imagine your PERFECT shoes came so small that you actually feel like one of Cinderella's sisters :) I really tried to put them on but I guess I just was kidding myself ) but I was still checking the online shop ( I was hoping ) and after 2 day's there was size 6 and 7 ( for about 10 min ) , and me smiling , to not have a bitter face again I ordered both of them and end up with 3 pairs of red heels at home :) size 6 was just perfect and the other pairs already is reserved by some of my friends.
..so relieved now :)

hey girls ..here is one more gift wrapping post before Christmas so hopefully you will get some ideas ..I wrapped 3 presents today , so let's see .. so here is the first present , it's candle in a box .. Even though pink is definitely not my favourite Christmas colour , this paper was the only one which caught my eye in the shop ..just wrap your box in the paper , then wrap around a ribbon. I used a light pink ribbon and black suede ribbon, I like that it makes a good contrast , and I finished the look with silver little baubles ( recycled from last years Christmas accessories )

..here is wrap number 2 , one of my readers asked me how to wrap different shape presents ( it's a cup ) so I would recommend to wrap the present in a plastic type paper because normal wrapping paper in that case will tear etc ..So this is a gorgeous shiny gold plastic paper ( sorry for the poor quality of this picture it didn't come out too well. It's impossible to take a snap of something so shiny ) but it looks gorgeous in real life ..I finished the look with little Christmas baubles and black feathers .. This is a very good way to wrap up all your champagne or wine etc,etc....

..Here is the 3rd type of wrap, it's actually a box full of little cuties . I bought this because I thought it would be a nice box to place all the little goodies ..Also the box itself looks great ..I have a few in my wardrobe as well : )
For finishing touches I have used gold cotton in many layers and Christmas baubles ..easy , simple and looks great ..

..hey girls , finally I am here with new gift packing ideas ..this time I packed 2 presents and yet again I used paper and crafts which I already had at home ..
First present I wrapped in magazine advert paper ( I really love that way ) with gorgeous metallic ribbon , and as a little decor I used pin with little pearls ..

I thought I will recycle in my way last years Christmas cards , I cut out little characters from the cards and for the present I used little fairy as a detail but you can also use those little cut outs like a present tags

second present I wrapped ( yes again) in simple post paper ..I used beautiful grey / purple ribbon and as a decor detail I used my recycled fairy ( attached with safety pin )

..so happy that few presents are wrapped already :)
